What is a Slow Hiss

Is it in contemplating a hollow victory

for all victory is hollow if you think you seem sane

which is why I love football because you're one

way or the other .

If shovelling disgusting little acorns of knowledge

into your cheeks is a worthy use of one's time

and knowing when to swallow them

doesn't watercolour your spirit

or keep you a drone in indecision

or turn your slow hiss into something

like the cat's claw in the air mattress

then maybe you're as pure

as an athlete when
