Poem a Day 2025

 another flawed grandma passes to next realm 
so they gather the big table
to eat ravioli
and workshop memorial speeches
     she had a good heart….
     according to her doctor!
it wasn’t in the zeitgeist to break generational trauma back then

and yet what mother wouldn’t want to do at least just a bit better than hers did
